Important Message - Welfare
Following the first weekend of the County Championships, I am afraid to inform you that we had a couple of welfare issues take place in the changing rooms.
The county has met with the pool management and council to look at additional measures we can put in place to reduce the risk of these reoccurring during the remaining sessions of the County Championships – we have also been supported by representatives from Teamipswich as the facility is their ‘home’ pool.
Therefore, please can I ask you to update your swimmers and parents/guardians with the details below prior to the next sessions this weekend –
Thank you for your support in this matter and we look forward to even more fantastic racing during the remaining sessions of the championships.

- Entry to the building will only be through the side door at the front of Crown Pools – no swimmers or spectators will be able to enter through the main reception at any time during the sessions
- We will be undertaking regular walk throughs of the changing room areas by appropriate volunteers
- No entry or exit should take place through any fire exits

There are two separate links - one for the long distance events being held at UEA and the other for the events being held at Crown Pools. Closing dates are 15th December and 31st December respectively. A link to enter relays will be available shortly (with a closing date of 31st December).
