Regional Swimming Official’s Online Forums
Swim England East Region has hosted a series of Swimming Official’s Online Forums at the beginning of June. The forums were arranged to assist our officials in preparation for their return back to officiating, after a 15 month absence on poolside. To this end we arranged three forums to refresh our knowledge and procedures to act as a confidence booster before our return to poolside.
The following forums were delivered virtually by Zoom.
British Swimming has extended the period of validity for Officials Licences, to assist those individuals who may have been unable to fulfil the renewal requirements due to the various Covid restrictions in place. Further information can be found on the Swimming Official’s Online Forum page.
FINA Rules CPD
Swim England have confirmed that the FINA Rules 2017-21 can now be delivered virtually online (instead of face2face delivery). Swim England Suffolk are planning to present the CPD Online on 4th October at 19.00. Log in details to be published nearer the date.

- Tuesday 1 June 21 @ 7.30pm Swimming Officials Online Forum for all qualified officials
- Tuesday 8 June 2021 @ 19:30pm Swimming Officials Online Forum for qualified Starters
- Sunday 13 June 2021 @ 10.30am Swimming Officials Online Forum for qualified Referees

Online Judge Level 1 Training
